Welcome! Through collaboration between the governments of South Korea and Uganda, the Ntinda Vocational Training Institute (NTVTI), a public institution under the Ministry of Education and Sports, was created for job searchers, the unemployed, young people, and existing workers. It is conveniently situated near to one of Kampala’s industrial zones in Ntinda, a suburb 3 km east of the capital city. This gives the trainees a chance to engage with the working world related to their specialties.
OUR DEPARTMENTSDepartment of Plumbing. The goal of the plumbing program is to produce plumbers who are applicable to the field and workplace. It is based on practical application and is trainee-centered. The emphasis is on the trainees acquiring skills through projects, practical learning, and innovation, as well as through industrial training at the end of each year.
Department of welding. The goal of the welding and fabrication course is to produce welders who are useful in business and the workplace. The welding department offers practical, student-centered training. It places a focus on the trainees acquiring skills through practical learning, projects, and innovation as well as industrial training when each year is complete.
Departments of automotive mechanics. The goal of the automotive mechanics program is to produce automotive mechanics who are applicable to the workplace and industry. It is based on practical application and is trainee-centered. It places a strong emphasis on the trainees acquiring skills through hands-on training and the completion of actual projects.
