Three year classes of pre-primary instruction are available at Taibah Junior School. Baby Class/Kindergarten 1 (or KG1) is our reception year group, and according to school regulation, students must be three (3) years old or turning three before the month of May in order to enroll in this class. In the pre-primary division, there are two additional year groups: Middle Class (KG2) for four-year-olds and Top Class (KG3) for five-year-olds.
At this level, we primarily provide Day School facilities. At six years old, our kids start kindergarten.
At Taibah Junior School – Kawempe, we only offer UNEB curriculum. In addition, we impart social and moral education, life skills, French, Swahili, and teaching pertinent to the child’s religious beliefs. Our schedule of events includes music lessons, physical activity, sports (including swimming), traditional and contemporary dance, art, craft, and agriculture.
We teach life skills as well as the appropriate religious education for the child’s faith. Our timetabled activities include music, physical education, sports (including swimming), traditional and contemporary dance, art, craft, and agriculture.
Activities for Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, media studies, wildlife, Red Cross, art, ballet, and hockey are also a significant component of our program. As part of our program, we also have clubs for cooking and computing (information communication technologies).
